Successful Soil Purification Test By Ecotechniek

Ecotechniek successfully treated three types of soils contaminated with HCH, drins and PCDD/F. In total 5000 tons of heavily contaminated soils were treated at the thermal treatment plant of Ecotechniek during the test treatment. The treated soils were cleaned to the extent that contamination was non-detectable. The average PCDD/F emissions (0.02 ng TEQ/m3) were far below the target value of 0.1 ng TEQ/m3.
