A GENETIC ALGORITHM FOR THE CITY COACH STATION LOCATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF TRANSIT LINES

This article presents recommendations for shortening the length of travel time for passengers, considering the building cost and operational efficiency of the transit station. The authors also present a mathematical model of the transit station location and the distribution of transit lines. An example is given using a genetic algorithm. Once the results are assessed and corrected by experts, the transit station location and optimal allocation scheme can be achieved.
