Isolation of Dodecane Degrading Bacteria and Optimization of Degrading Conditions

A strain of bacteria capable of using dodecane as sole carbon source was isolated from oil-contaminated soil in Liaohe Oilfield.This strain was identified as the species of genus Pseudomonas through analyzing its morphological characteristics,physiological and biochemical characteristics.Effects of cultivating conditions on the bacteria growth and bacteria degradability for dodecane were investigated.The results show that the optimal temperature and inoculation quantity for the degradation are 37 ℃ and 10%;And the optimal dodecane concentration is 500 mg/L,the optimal pH is 8.0;Under the optimized conditions,the degeneration rate of dodecane in 72 h is 65.2%.
