산화아연 나노입자가 Poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) 섬유의 자외선 저항성 향상에 미치는 영향

2018
Poly(ρ-phenylene benzobisoxazole) (PBO) and it’s nanocomposites with ZnO nanoparicles containing 0.5-2.0 wt% were successfully fabricated in poly(phospheric acid) and P2O5 via in situ polymerization to investigate the improvement for the UV resistance of PBO fiber. The as-polymerized solutions having 14 wt% of PBO solid content were spun at liquid crystalline state through dry-jet wet spinning to prepare PBO and it’s nanocomposite fibers. It was found that the ZnO nanoparticles were dispersed individually in the fibers from SEM observation because of in situ polymerization for a long time up to 33 h. It was concluded that ZnO nanoparticles were significantly effective in enhacing UV resistance of PBO fiber even at low addition amount by exhibiting much lower reduction in tensile strength under the same UV exposure time.
