Design and Application of Dimethyl Ether 20000 t/a DCS System

Dimethyl ether is an important chemical raw material,and its use is extremely widespread,so it has a good market prospect.This article introduces a dimethyl ether productions installation whose output is 20,000 tons a year.It is a project of Liaohe oil field Guangmao oil gas project limited company in Panjin.This Installation uses the Webfield JX-300XP DCS belonged SUPCON.According to the production process of DME and the characteristic of JX-300XP DCS,we introduce the control system along with general design proposal,hardware disposition,software realization and network communication,and we also do some research about the practical application of plan included cascade control,chain-like control,and so on.Since the DCS put into production,it runs normally and enhances the production efficiency.
