A case of subcutaneous cysticercosis (Cysticercus cellulosae cutis)

2000
Abstract Cysticercosis is an infection resulting from the larval form of the pork tapeworm, and domestic infection is rare in Japan. We report a case of Cysticercus cellulosae cutis in a Japanese woman who was thought to be infected in an endemic area and offer a brief review of the literature. (J Am Acad Dermatol 2000;43:538–40.)
