Practical Theatre: A Post-16 Approach

1997
Students gain practical knowledge from the expertise of leading theatre practitioners. Students can put this increased knowledge to effective use through completion of a number of extended schemes of work. Students will gain an overall insight into the theatre from the broad content, which encompasses research information, bibliographies, exam advice and interviews with directors and stage managers. The motivation and interest are increased by the wealth of ideas on setting up and focusing practical activities and exercises. The requirements of post-16 Theatre Studies/Performing Arts courses are covered as the content is structured around A-Level and GNVQ syllabuses.
