The analysis of effect of improved evisceration and hydroxyapatite (HA) orbital implant implantation

Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of improved evisceration and hydroxyapatite (HA) orbital implant implantation. Method 30 cases of improved evisceration and hydroxyapatite (HA) orbital implant implantation were retrospectively analyzed to observe the effect.Results There was no exposure of orbit implants in 30 cases,superior orbit was full and no depression,mobility of artifical eye was satisfied,but less than the other eye. Conclusion Improved evisceration and hydroxyapatite (HA) orbital implant implantation greatly reduce the incidence of exposure with no falling of it,contribute to cosmetic appearance as well.
