Dispersion and absorption measurements using a spectral interferometer

A spectral interferometer incorporating a Kosters prism is constructed to offer an excellent instrument for making a stable and precision measurement of material dispersion and absorption. Simultaneous measurements of the dispersion and absorption for a test sample, rhodamine in ethanol, are successfully made by use of the interferometer.© (1999) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
