Preparation and characteristics of thin films of phenyl-containing polyacetylenes

Colored thin films with a thickness of 0.1–10 μm were prepared by the vacuum sputtering of phenyl-containing polyacetylenes. The mechanism of formation of ordered films was analysed. The characteristics of the films were studied and possible fields of their application were outlined.
