Nyloblumenthal Technique in The Patient with White Cataract

The combination of the Mininuc and nylon loop technique for manual small incision cataract surgery (MSICS) is described in this article. After the nucleus is divided into 2 fragment by a nylon loop, the glide sheet is inserted under the nucleus and each fragment is then removed through a 4-5 mm sclera tunnel incision by hydro-expression. This technique provides smaller incision for surgery in the patients with white cataract.
