EFEITOS CLIMÁTICOS E A PRODUÇÃO DE LEITE A PASTO EM RONDÔNIA

2021
For many productive regions in Brazil there are four seasons in the year and with then different aspects of climate influencing the productivity of herds to pasture. However, in the North region the seasons can be basically divided into summer and Amazonian winter (rainy season). The occurrence of rainfall is directly related to the growth of fodder however factors such as radiation, cloudiness, temperature, photoperiod, among others, also exert important influences. This study aimed to address how cloudiness, radiation, temperature and rainfall are related in forage production and, consequently, pasture milk production, taking the historical series for 10 municipalities of the State of Rondonia (Ariquemes; Cacoal; Guajara-Mirim; Ji-Parana; Ouro Preto d'Oeste; Pimenta Bueno; Porto Velho; Rolim de Moura and Vilhena) since, for the dry season, there is a drop in forage and milk production. Data were also taken of private property destined for dairy production in order to register an atypical situation regarding productivity in the dry season and for this period questions arise as to the amount of water on offer and its grant.
