Friction member for the assembly of two parts.

2010
The invention relates to a metal wiping member for assembling two parts which has on at least one surface intended to be placed in contact with one of the parts, an oxide coating of said metal resulting from the treatment of body by a process of oxidation by electrolytic plasma. This coating has a hardness and a roughness sufficient to, when it is disposed sandwiched between the assembled parts, significantly increase the transmission capacity of sliding of the assembly without shear forces thus obtained.
