BIM 기반 건물 에너지 해석 자동화의 문제 및 고려사항

2016
Recently, BIM based energy simulation has been highlighted due to expectancy for efficient reuse and sharing of building information. The BIM based energy simulation is based on a belief that an automatic conversion of BIM to a BEM (Building Energy Model) can be seamless and such conversion would be much more efficient than a manual conversion. This paper aims to investigate whether the aforementioned belief is valid or not. In this study, four people were asked to develop a BIM model for a given small office building. Then, four BIM files were exported from a BIM authoring tool (Revit) to gbXML files. The gbXML files are then converted to EnergyPlus input files ( * .idf) by OpenStudio. Four Revit files, four gbXML files and four idf files as well as EnergyPlus simulation results were cross-compared. It has been concluded in the paper that currently, seamless conversion from BIM to BEM is not realistic and expert’s judgment and intervention is indispensable.
