Higher education in the European Community : student handbook

1985
Each of the national sections provides comprehensive information on the structure of the higher education system, its institutions and available qualifications and also indicates admission conditions, application procedures, fees, languages requirements and grants, as well as providing details on important factors such as social security, counselling and accommodation. The appendix to each entry contains a list of organizations and institutions from which further information and application forms may be obtained, a bibliography of national information material and, in most cases, a table of subjects taught at each institution. The new edition also provides detailed information on the Community's higher education programmes Erasmus, Comett and Lingua, aiming to facilitate student mobility within the community, which are generating increasing interest as 1992 aproaches. It explains in some detail the Erasmus application procedures and lists the national academic recognition information centres (NARIC).
