A method for displaying visually determined surface geometries

In a method for displaying at least one property of an optically determined surface geometry of at least one three-dimensional object, in particular of a tooth, on a display, in particular a computer screen, the surface geometry, is checked at a defined range if a defined criterion is met. A number of optically obtained data of the defined area is a criterion. A set of defined areas of the surface geometry is assigned a property if all sectors of the quantity meet the criterion. The property is illustrated graphically in a defined manner, wherein different properties are displayed in a different graphic form.
