İŞLETMELERDE AFET YÖNETİMİ: MARMARA VE EGE BÖLGELERİNDE BULUNAN RAFİNERİ VE PETROKİMYA ENDÜSTİRİSİ ÜZERİNE KARŞILAŞTIRMALI BİR ARAŞTIRMA

ABSTRACT The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the disaster management facilities of the refinery and the petrochemical businesses which have experienced a devastating disaster recently in Marmara Region and the refinery and the petrochemical industries which have not experienced a devastating disaster recently but are under a risk of potential disasters in Aegean Region comparatively.  Totally three hundred attendants who work in the refinery and petrochemical industry both in Marmara and Aegean regions were included to the research.    Information about disaster management practices were meant to be obtained.  After analysing the results with a statistical package program it was found out that there is no statistical significant difference between two regions about disaster management.
