Development of a compendium of risk management

The main intention of this study is to make dynamic web page. The theme of the web page is natural disasters and risk managemant. Web page is ment to be used as an e-learning course for students of civil and geodetic engineering and for public purpose as well. An important measure to reduce effects of natural disasters is to inform general public. The thesis contains the study of three similar web pages that already exsist on the world wide web. The knowledge gained with the study of these three web pages is the foundation for further developing of dynamic web page which is described in continuation. Development of dynamic web page consists of plan and execution of the web page, execution of relational database and execution of user interface, which is used for renewal and supplementing of contents that are published on the web page. Because the range of contents that refer to natural disasters and risk management is too large, I only treat the field of landslides and debris flows. Even these contents aren`t optimal and are mostly used as presentation of the developed system.
