The Localization of Lymphokines in Murine Germinal Centers

We have already reported that folliclar dendritic cells (FDCs) in the light zone of germinal centers (GCs) reacted positively for CD23, and that there is a close relationship between T cells and CD23-positive (CD23+) FDCs in the pattern of distribution on reactive and neoplastic follicles1. It was considered that CD23+ FDCs play an important role in interacting with T cells in follicles, and participate both in the formation of GCs and the preservation of folliclar structure.
