Method and device for determining existence of equipment identification codes

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and device for determining existence of equipment identification codes. The method comprises the steps that a lookup request sent by a terminal is received; the equipment identification codes carried by the lookup request are partitioned according to a preset partition rule to obtain first sub equipment identification codes and second sub equipment identification codes; an equipment identification code set corresponding to the first sub equipment identification codes is acquired, and the equipment identification code set comprises at least one of the second preset sub equipment identification codes; preset equipment identification codes same as the second sub equipment identification codes are looked up in the equipment identification code set to obtain a lookup result; when the lookup result shows that the second preset sub equipment identification codes same as the second sub equipment identification codes are found, it is determined that the equipment identification codes exist. According to the method, memory consumption for looking up the equipment identification codes can be lowered and reduced, and then the memory usage rate is decreased.
