The Queensland food eco-efficiency project: Reducing risk and improving competitiveness

2005
This paper describes how the Queensland food eco-efficiency project has been planned, how it is proceeding in the implementation stage and some early results. Strong networking has been achieved with enhanced opportunities for discussion, information sharing and food sector problem solving. Reduction in costs for the companies involved implies improvement in competitive position while attention to environmental details will minimise overall risks.
