One kind of box positioning apparatus disclosed in the present invention, includes a frame, pedestal, and a spring between the two symmetrically disposed at both sides of the axle box and the frame, and further comprising two sets of springs are provided corresponding to the gap adjusting means; each gap adjustment means is detachably provided to the frame and between the respective spring thereto. Box positioning means compared to the prior art, the gap adjusting unit of the present embodiment can be easily attached or detached from the frame. When the spring creep, pedestal and frame to make a gap distance remains within the allowable range, the gap can be adjusted simply means through both the gap adjustment, or without the need to remove the axle box springs, so that maintenance and repair can greatly save time and costs, thereby enhancing the positioning means axlebox gap adjustment means process operability.
