Comment on “Oxidation of theFe(110)surface: AnFe3O4(111)∕Fe(110)bilayer”

We found that iron film evaporated onto iron oxide on $\mathrm{Fe}(110)$ antiferromagnetically couples with the $\mathrm{Fe}(110)$. This result contradicts that obtained by Kim et al. [Phys. Rev. B 61, 15284 (2000)], who reported that the coupling was ferromagnetic for the system, which they claimed was the same as ours. This discrepancy suggests that the stoichiometries of their iron oxide and ours are different, and the ferromagnetic order at the reconstructed $\mathrm{FeO}(111)$ surface cannot be denied.
