Fatigue analysis of ship-borne modular skid-mounted equipment

In order to ensure the fatigue reliability of ship borne modular skid mounted structure, the fatigue reliability of skid mounted structure under wave load is studied by using fatigue accumulation theory. Firstly, according to the statistical characteristics of waves in the South China Sea, the fatigue loads of ship mounted skid structures with different wave directions are calculated by using hydrodynamic analysis method, and then the fatigue life of skid structures is analyzed by using nominal stress method and S-N curve. The results show that the joint between the fracturing skid and the deck is prone to fatigue damage. When the incident angle of the wave is 90 degrees, the fatigue life damage of the ship mounted skid structure is the largest. Therefore, the ship should keep the same direction with the wave direction as far as possible during the mooring operation, so as to reduce the damage of wave load to the skid mounted equipment.
