Behaviour experiments in rats. Pharmacological action of gamma aminobutyric acid + vitamin B6

Abstract (1) The influence of the association of GABA and vitamin B 6 on the training of rats in a labyrinth was studied. (2) The GABA-B 6 group showed better performances than a similar placebo lot in the normal learning process, in the adaptation to environmental changes and in the restoration of the reflex after extinction. (3) The GABA content of the brain tissue in both groups did not show differences. (4) The clinical experience with 165 patients with nervous disturbances where the formula GABA-B 6 showed positive therapeutic action in 80 per cent of the cases is mentioned
