Modelo estructural de desarrollo sustentable de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación

Carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions derived from the use of ICTs have increased significantly since 1990. However, ICTs can reduce emissions by more than 12 Gt in the world economy by 2030. To address this situation, a structural model was developed to evaluate the variables ICT updating (Y1), ICT sustainable development (Y2), and financial risks (Y3), from the perspective of companies that provide ICT services. A multivariate analysis model was designed and applied to a sample of 48 companies measured through a questionnaire with Likert scale. The results meet the fit of the model and demonstrate significant impact on the dependent variables analyzed.
