CT Features of Epithelioid Angiomyolipoma in Liver:Report of 2 Cases and Literature Review

Objective To analyze the CT features of EAML in liver.Methods CT features of two patients with EAMLwere reviewed.Results Both of the 2 patients were females,age of 38 and 49 years old respectively.One case presented with right upper abdominal pain,and another one was occasionally detected the low right abdominal mass.The laboratory examinations were normal in both cases.CT findings:(1)The masses located at segment Ⅱ/Ⅶ respectively;(2) Both lesions presented as hypoatteunuation on non-enhanced CT,little fat components was detected in 1 case;(3)On contrast-enhanced CT,both lesions manifested as hypervascular lesion with obvious enhancement and curved thicking supplying artery on arterial phase.Conclusion Epithelioid angiomyolipoma of liver has characteristic CT findings,including hypervascular lesion with little or no fatty components,and the cystic areas can be detected in some cases.It is prone to be misdiagnosed as liver cancer.
