Heatable Article, in particular a heated tube, with a plastic-sheathed heat conductor and process for its preparation

The invention relates to a heated item, in particular a heatable hose (8) with an elastic base body of a vulcanizate, wherein in the basic body, a heat conductor (12) is embedded, which is electrically connectable to an electric terminal connection and a soul as heating wire, and sheath comprised of an electrically insulating polymeric material. The sheath is a polymer material based on a Polyphenylenderivates, especially a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), wherein the polymeric material is annealed. There is further provided a process for the production of a heatable article, in particular again a heatable tube (12) presented stating the appropriate annealing conditions.
