Videofluoroscopic Evaluation of Normal and Impaired Oropharyngeal Swallowing

Videofluoroscopic swallow studies, the current imaging standard for diagnosing and managing oropharyngeal dysphagia, aid radiologists in identifying and managing normal and abnormal mechanisms of swallowing and phases of deglutition, as well as diagnosing pathologic disorders that may contribute to swallowing dysfunction.
