Ion Exchange Resin Pollution and Its Recovery Process

It was inevitable that the ion exchange resin was contaminated in the preparation of pure water.In order to revive the contaminated resin and recover its exchange capacity,this paper analyzed the various reasons of ion exchange resin pollution and the mechanism of poisoning,and then introduced the methods of pollution identification.According to the mechanisms of organic pollution and iron poisoning,this paper took appropriate measures for the detoxification and recovery of the resin.The results showed that the resin had good effects after the detoxification process and the effluent conductivity reached 0.06μs/Ω·cm.
