Patient radiation dose when using XperCT and rotational X-Ray

The purpose of this paper is to estimate the patient dose for our latest implemented 3DRA and XperCT protocols. This information can be used by our clinical users and those who advise them to make better decisions in employing these novel imaging techniques. We modeled a number standard and representative clinical situations in which XperCT, 3DRA and 3DRX would be used, and estimated the nominal patient doses when performing each imaging protocol.The presented data were acquired from anthropomorphic phantom measurements and computer simulations.
