Colored molded article which comprises: a plastic layer (34, 40); one outer film layer (10, 44) on said plastic layer and forming a composite laminate including said outer film layer (10, 44) being provided with an inner surface (18) adjacent and bonded to said layer plastic (34, 40) and an opposite outer surface (20) to said inner surface (18); a reinforcing material (16, 42) selected from the group consisting of metal, plastic, carbon fibers, fiberglass, fabrics and mixtures thereof adhered to the inner surface (18) of said outer film layer ( 10), said reinforcing material (16, 42) is at least partially embedded in the inner surface (18) of said outer film layer (10, 44) and the reinforcing material (16, 42) and the layer plastic (34, 40) include reinforcing fibers include long fibers of at least about 30 mm length; and a decorative colored layer (10?, 44?) with color uniformity on the outer surface (20) of said outer film layer (10, 44).
