GLOBAL LONGITUDINAL STRAIN PREDICTS PROGRESSIVE HEART FAILURE IN NONOBSTRUCTIVE HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY

An important subset of nonobstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) patients develop progressive and unrelenting heart failure refractory to pharmacologic treatment with preserved ejection fraction (EF). However, reliable markers for development of such symptom progression are not well
