Dynamic reliability calculation for random seismic response of soil layers

When seismic acceleration power spectrum of bedrock input are white noise and filter white noise,the theory of dynamic reliability calculation for the random seismic response of soil layers is proposed. The results indicate that first passage failure criterion is simpler than fatigue failure criterion in calculation, and it can give failure reliability when soil layers first passage some limit value b in time t as well as failure time in that. So it is an effective method in seismic dynamic reliability calculation.
