JumonjiC demethylase inhibitors show potential for targeting chemotherapy-resistant lung cancers

ABSTRACTResistance to standard taxane-platin chemotherapy and tumor relapse are a major challenge in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC). Our recent study identified JumonjiC demethylase inhibitors as a highly potent therapeutic strategy for targeting chemoresistant tumors and for preventing the emergence of drug-tolerant clones from taxane-platin treated NSCLCs.
