Stable, humus and nutrient-rich and water-storing bottom mold or Terra Preta Humanidade (11) having properties of anthropogenic soil forms such as Terra Preta do Indio, producible by a method comprising the steps of: (A) Preparation of biochar or fumed carbon (8) by pyrolysis or hydrothermal carbonization (7) of carbonaceous biomass (4, 5, 6), (B) seeding the mixture through addition of a starter culture of microorganisms (2) for carrying out an anaerobic fermentation of further to the fumed carbon (8) of added biomass (4, 5, 6) for generating Terra Preta Humanidade Initial (9) (C) adding further microorganisms (2) for generating Terra Preta Humanidade active (10) and (D) adding soil amendments (3) for generating Terra Preta Humanidade (11) wherein the Terra Preta Humanidade (11) contains at least one component (1), - which can hold at least ten times its dry weight of water and at least partially re-emit and - is present as nanoparticles, microparticles and / or macro particles; Processes for their preparation and their use.
