Continental European WAMs System Analysis, Protection and Dynamics Applications

Abstract: In the last ten years, Wide Area Monitoring (WAM) systems have become important tools for detailed event analysis, dynamic system monitoring and enhanced protection system and dynamic model calibration support. Current efforts are directed towards solutions which allow for the creation of a link between dynamic WAM information and the steady-state SCADA/EMS man-machine interface.
