Characteristics of gas emission in coalmine based on fractal dimension theory

In view of the problem of mine gas emission,this study takes the key points as interpolation points in the time series of coalmine gas emission quantity to fit the fractal interpolation curve of the time sequence of gas emission in coalmine according to the fractal interpolation method and based on the MATLAB software.Therefore,the gas emission quantity and trend curves in different period are obtained.The study demonstrates that the fractal theory can be used in the time sequence analysis of gas emission,the qualitative description on the nonlinear behavior of gas emission,and the quantitative modeling of periodic gas emission.The study result provides an effective way for gas prediction and has a practical application value.
