Acute Abdomen in Adult Trauma

Abstract The radiologist plays a key role in the diagnosis of acute traumatic injuries in the abdomen and pelvis, the acute treatment of a number of these injuries, and the treatment of delayed complications that may arise. CT evaluation of the stable trauma patient is now standard of care and accurately grading injuries is imperative to appropriately triage patients for non-operative, angiographic, or operative treatment.
