Хронический стресс и депрессия у больных ревматоидным артритом

2009
This review of recent research also contains a discussion on relationship between rheumatoid arthritis and depressive disorders from the point of view of the diathesis-stress model. This model is used for depression, and it includes some pathogenetic mechanisms, which seem to resemble very much those involved in rheumatoid arthritis. The article presents the analysis of these mechanisms, with an accent on the role of chronic stress in development of depression, and certain clinical symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, including pain. This analysis forms the ground for the use of modern psychopharmacological medication in the treatment of depression and pain in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
