Braille music score management environment

The present paper proposes a Braille music score management environment. First, we outline the current situation of Braille music scores and introduce related studies. Next, we discuss the requirements of such a system, and highlight the important considerations. We then explain the Braille music score management environment system and the interaction between the proposed system and the automatic Braille transcribe system. Finally, we present screen captures of a sample session. Using the proposed system, it is possible to provide Braille music scores via the Internet to the visually impaired and to manage Braille music scores by volunteer transcribers more easily.
