Scenario of the Crime against Women in North East India & Its Trends and Remedial Mesures - An Analysis:

Crime against women is abbreviated as CAW. It is also known as violence against women. The crime or the violence is primarily or exclusively committed against the women. Sometimes it is regarded as hate crime. This type of crime basically gender based which means that the crimes are committed against women expressly because they are the women or as result of patriarchal constraints. Violence against women and girls is a problem of pandemic proportion. At this one out of three women around the world has beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise abused.
