High temperature stable perovskite solar cell based on carbon counter electrodes

Developing low cost CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 solar cell utilising earth abundant carbon as a counter electrode in the hole transport layer free structure is promising for practical applications. Here we demonstrated the solution processed CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 solar cells by utilising ambient coated carbon layer as hole transport and counter electrodes. The fabricated devices exhibit the advantages in terms of ambient and high temperature (85° C) thermal stability which is an essential according to IEC 61646 climate chamber test norms.
