The invention relates to a method and an impact detection system on a bladed wheel (7) of an aircraft engine, characterized in that it comprises: - acquisition means (13) for acquiring a rotational speed of said engine and a set of deflection signals representative of deflections of the blades of said bladed wheel to said rotational speed, and - correlation means (15) to construct collision sensing signals on said bladed wheel correlating each of the deflection signals with a predetermined signature of an impact on a blade to said rotation scheme.
