Crohn's disease involving thepenis

SUMMARYPerianal complications ofCrohn's disease occurin25-70%ofpatients butperineal andgenital lesions arerare. Treatment iscontroversial andthere isarisk ofrecurrent orpersistent disease. We report twocases ofCrohn's disease involving thepenis, onewithmultiple scrotal urinary fistulae, partial destruction oftheproximal urethra, andulceration ofthepenile shaft; the other withmetastatic cutaneous ulceration ofthepenile shaft. Thesecond caseisparticularly unusual inthatthepatient presented attheVD clinic asa caseofsyphilis. Case1
