The invention provides a display element based on a hybrid TFT structure. Through optimal structural design of the hybrid TFT structure, a plate capacitor is arranged above or below a metallic oxide TFT, so that capacitance is formed between a grid electrode of the metallic oxide TFT and the plate capacitor, the reduction of procedures is realized, and the production cost is reduced; by using the advantage that a silicon-based TFT is high in switching speed and large in drive current and the advantage that the metallic oxide TFT is good in uniformity and small in leakage current respectively, when the display element based on the hybrid TFT structure is applied to an OLED display device, the switching speed for switching the TFT can be improved, and the uniformity of the OLED display device is improved; and when the display element based on the hybrid TFT structure is applied to an LCD display device, the drive current of the TFT in an LCD grid drive circuit can be improved, and the leakage current during LCD display pixel driving and the leakage current of the TFT in a peripheral drive circuit are reduced.
