The invention discloses a torsion experiment device for a large-opening ship unbalanced in cargo loading and a simulation method. The torsion experiment device comprises a ship model, a base, dowel bars, connection rods and supporting columns. The ship model is fixed on the base through first rigid rods at two ends, four loading water tanks are mounted on two sides of the ship model symmetrically through the dowel bars, each two corresponding loading water tanks on two sides are connected through the connection rod, the middle of each connection rod is connected with the corresponding supporting column through a second rigid rod, and the second rigid rods are in hinge joint with the connection rods and the supporting columns. Angular displacement sensors are mounted at torsion axis positions of the ship model, a plurality of strain sensors are arranged on the ship model and are connected with a charge amplifier which is used for amplifying signals, and the amplified signals are collected by a signal collector. The torsion experiment device is manufactured by simulating a large-opening ship torsion principle to serve as an experiment device in teaching and makes experiments real and observation easy by loading torque to simulate ship loading unbalance conditions, thereby being convincing.
