A Profile of the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program: 1998-99. With Selected Data from 1997-98 and 1996-97

Provides a comprehensive profile of the program, including grantees and participants, services provided, and performance objectives and outcomes, using data from 1998-1999, 1997-1998, and 1996-1997. The data, submitted by almost all funded projects, represent over 9,000 participants. Notes that 75 percent of grantees were public institutions, and almost 80 percent had 5,000 or more full-time students. Historically Black Colleges and Universities made up 10 percent of grantees; Hispanic-Serving Institutions made up another 11 percent.
