Influence of adsorbed elements on SrS:Ce TFEL devices

Adsorbed materials affect the luminance and life of SrS:Ce, a promising blue-emitting TFEL material. TFEL devices fabricated on a heated substrate showed lower levels of adsorbed material, especially H 2 O, and substantially longer life, although initial luminances were the same.
