STUDY OF THE LIGHT DISTRIBUTION IN THE MULTI LAYERED BIO TISSUE

Five layered model of skin is presented to study the light propagation and distribution in skin tissue by using Monte Carlo technique. Gaussian beam and circularly flat beam are collimated and directed normally to the surface of tissue. The radially resolved diffuse reflectance R and the diffuse transmittance T vs radius r , angularly resolved R and T vs the angle α between the photon exiting direction and the normal to the medium surface, absorption energy density A and internal fluence F vs r and thickness z are simulated. The reasons of these variations are analyzed.
